Greg L. Gavasse, MSSE, P.E.

Mr. Gavasse founded Cal-Quake Engineering, Inc. in 2001. With over 30 years of experience, Greg is a trusted expert in seismic risk assessments, structural engineering, and building evaluations/construction. Holding a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business from UC Santa Barbara, Greg is also a registered Professional Engineer and licensed General Engineering and General Building Contractor in California.

Greg has completed more than 10,000 Seismic Risk Assessments (SRAs), Property Condition Assessments (PCAs), seismic retrofit designs, construction monitoring, structural evaluations, and design projects across a wide range of property types. These include high-rise buildings, industrial facilities, commercial centers, hospitals, retail complexes, multi-family developments, and bridges. His expertise spans ASTM, HUD, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac reporting standards, ensuring compliance and precision with every project.
